Helen Mae Wilson, 99, died in Belfast Aug. 18, 2010.

She was born in Newark, N.J., Jan. 12, 1911, the daughter of Raymond and Anna (McDede) Robinson. She worked for many years locally as an inspector in the poultry plant.

She was an accomplished artist. She enjoyed crafts and gardening. Her passion was antique bottle-hunting. She loved her family and particularly being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas and his wife, Donna Wilson, of Sanford and Terrill and his wife, Myrtle, of Searsmont; a daughter, Gail Dorr, of Liberty; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, Monday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Searsmont.
