After 10 years and three beautiful children, Chris Foster and Loretta Pomeroy, both of Brooks, were married Aug. 21, 2010.

The groom’s parents are Barbara and Roger Foster of Brooks.

The bride’s parents are Ricky Pomeroy of Belmont and Kandi Pomeroy of Stockton Springs.

The bride’s sister, Kristi Pomeroy, of Bucksport, was the maid of honor. Kaylah Rankin, the bride’s niece, was the bridesmaid/flower girl, and the newlyweds’ daughter, Diamond, was the flower girl.

The best man was Richard Carrol of Belfast. D’Artagnan Foster, the oldest of the three children, was an usher, and Dominic Foster was the ring bearer.

Loretta is a 2001 graduate of Searsport District High School and currently works as a dietary aide/cook at Harbor Hill Nursing Home.

Chris is a stay-at-home dad who is currently working on his GED.

It was a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Cape Docks in Stockton Springs, where Loretta grew up.
