The Belfast field hockey team earned a solid 4-0 shutout victory against Oak Hill of Sabattus Thursday as the Lions notched their fifth win and fourth straight decision.

Lauren Rice and Ashland Hall each had a goal and an assist for the Lions while Brooklyn Curry and Allie James scored one each. Helene Wallace and Kasey Laveway added assists.

Paxton Mohney, Julia Ward and Sierra Wood, who saw time in the cage, never faced a shot.

Oak Hill goalie Sara LaCroix made 24 saves on the 28 shots she faced.

Belfast (5-2, 20.1775 points) is sixth in the Maine Principals’ Association Heal Point Standings for Eastern Class B. Mount View of Thorndike (7-0, 44.2604 points) is first in the 14-team region.
