Belfast cross-country squads forged fourth-place finishes Friday afternoon in a talent-laden, regular-season cross-country meet hosted by Cony of Augusta.

The girls team scores were: Brewer 49, Hampden Academy 52, Cony 73, Belfast 78 and Leavitt of Turner 96.

The boys team scores were: Hampden Academy 31, Cony 44, Brewer 93, Belfast 106, Leavitt 121 and Gardiner 143.
