With three games on the docket for Midcoast high school soccer squads on a wet Wednesday afternoon, ultimately only one took place with the others rescheduled for Thursday.

The Islesboro coed team posted a 7-3 victory against Valley at Bingham, while Georges Valley and Searsport’s Class C boys games with Winthrop and Deer Isle-Stonington, respectively, were pushed from Wednesday to Thursday.

On Thursday, Oct. 7, the Buccaneers will face the Ramblers at 6 p.m. under the lights at Winthrop, while the Vikings will square off with the Mariners at 4 p.m.

Also in a schedule change, the girls soccer game between Searsport and Deer Isle-Stonington was pushed from Thursday to Friday at Deer Isle, set for a 4 p.m. start.

Islesboro 7, Valley 3 … At Bingham Wednesday, the Eagles soared over the Cavaliers and won by a convincing margin. Max Mahan and D.J. Johnson each earned a hat trick with their play on the pitch, while Alana Govoni also creased the net for the visitors.

Islesboro (7-2, 18.8679 points) is sixth in the Maine Principals’ Association Heal Point Standings for Western Class D, while Greenville (7-2-2, 50.9269 points) is first in the 10-team region.
