Delmore “Del” S. Philbrook, 71, died Oct. 26, 2010, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Belfast, a son of Calvin and Grace (Patterson) Philbrook.

Del was an Air Force veteran who was a circuit board designer for many years. He retired back to his birthplace from Satellite Beach, Fla., where he and his wife, Bonnie, spent all of their time together, enjoying walking across the footbridge, walks at Moose Point Park with their dog, Beau, time at the Farmer’s Market and Belfast Harbor. Del also loved to watch Fox News.

He was predeceased by his parents; several uncles; and a brother-in-law.

Del is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Bonnie Philbrook, of Belfast; five children, Gwen, Michelle, Wendy, Shari and John; two siblings, Terry Philbrook and Gloria Albertinetti; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
