Joy Lynn Martin, 53, died Oct. 28, 2010, at Togus.

She was born in Pensacola, Fla., May 21, 1957, a daughter of Linwood and Joyce (Teeney) Crosby. Joy Lynn was an Army veteran who enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors. She also enjoyed photography, reading, playing cards and was a self-taught drummer. She liked lighthouses, working on her computer and going out to eat. She always remembered family and friends with Christmas and birthday cards.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of almost 25 years, Lionel Martin, of Vassalboro; two daughters, Michelle Martin and her significant other, Zachary Littlefield, of Waldo and Rachel Martin and her significant other, Christopher Miquelon, of Augusta; a brother, Christopher Crosby and his wife, Carla, of Florida; four grandchildren, Zachary Jr., Damarion, Kaydence and Zaybreon; three nephews and a niece.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Brooks Bible Church with the Rev. Brian Thompson officiating.
