Nickerson-Babcock engagement

Meg and Mike Nickerson of Belfast announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nickerson, to Zackary Babcock, son of Virginia and James Babcock of Gilford, N.H..

Amanda is a 2001 graduate of Belfast Area High School and a 2005 graduate of USM, with a bachelor’s degree in music education. Zak is a 2000 graduate of Gilford High School, Gilford N.H., and a 2004 graduate of George Washington University, with a bachelor’s degree in public policy.

Zak teaches social studies at White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, N.H. Amanda teaches music at Laconia Middle School in Laconia, N.H. A Sept. 10, 2011, wedding is planned.
