Prophetic agenda for a time of despair
BELFAST — Many people feel that we have entered a new era in U.S. history. The optimism and euphoria of previous days is gone for many people, as threats to freedom at home and peace abroad seem to abound. The vitriol of politics has left us a divided nation and voices from every corner are calling for unity and collaboration
Is collaboration possible or even desirable? Is unity an empty dream? What can liberals do now? At 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, Rev. Dr. T. Richard Snyder will ponder these questions, and draw upon the resources of Judaism, Christianity, Unitarian Universalism, and freedom movements throughout history for clues for the future.
Unitarian Universalism seeks a world community in which peace, liberty and justice for all prevails.
