Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a vehicle that was reported stolen over the weekend.

Chief Deputy Bob Keating of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said that a Blanket Lane resident called police around 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, to report that the vehicle was gone.

“The homeowner got up and discovered that their vehicle was missing from the driveway,” said Keating, who added that the caller reported having last seen the vehicle around 11 p.m. the night before.

The vehicle is a white, 2002 Suzuki XL-7, bearing Maine registration plates 862 ACN. Keating said the vehicle has a bow and arrow decal on the back window.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 338-2040. Deputy Jordan Tozier is the investigating officer on the case, according to Keating.
