Some of the upcoming games, and their broadcast days and times, will be the Belfast girls versus Mount View of Thorndike on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 7 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m.; the Belfast boys versus Rockland on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m.; the Belfast girls versus Medomak Valley on Friday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 1 at 3 p.m.; and the Belfast boys versus Lincoln Academy of Newcastle on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m.

Anne Allee of Belfast Community Television said the station has covered various local sporting events since BCTV-2 began in 2006. She said the operation is run entirely by volunteers. “Belfast Community Television encourages other volunteers to come forward with any sporting event footage they would like to see on the air,” she said.
