Virginia “Ginny” Coller, 88, died Dec. 10, 2010.
She was born July 9, 1922, in Keene, N.H., a daughter of George and Mable (Caldwell) Ware. Ginny would say she was a homemaker; however, she and her husband, Bob, did a wide variety of things together. One of the most notable was the Robert Coller Chorale. Ginny was an operator and did set design for an opera company. She also taught classes on enameling copper. She also operated the switchboard at Waldo County General Hospital for a time. Ginny did many things with Bob, they were usually in the same direction.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Brian.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert B. Coller, of Belfast; two daughters, Diane Wilson of Belfast and Marsha Coller of Belfast; a grandson, Brian Wilson of New York, N.Y.
A celebration of Ginny’s life will be held Saturday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on High Street in Belfast, with the Rev. Foster Williams officiating. Interment will be in Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
