Laura Breault, 48, died unexpectedly in a car accident with her daughter, Jessi, Dec. 15, 2010, in Knox.
She was born Aug. 23, 1962, in South Weymouth, Mass., a daughter of Peter and Marion (Clark) Bowers.
She loved her chosen career as a case manager working with physically and mentally challenged people. It was said that she was like a big kid herself. She enjoyed kids and would take anybody into her home and help them. Laura was a very active member of the Brooks Pentecostal Church.
She was predeceased by her father, Peter, in 2009.
Laura is survived by her mother, Marion Bowers, of Freedom; a sister, Jennifer B. Carriere, of Arkansas; two nephews and two nieces.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held Sunday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. at the Brooks Pentecostal Church 178 Monroe Highway, Brooks.
