Despite their limited numbers, the Mount View indoor track squads experienced success in a Dec. 29 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference meet at Bowdoin College. Even though the team scores were not high, the individual Mustang athletes showed promise at the event.

For the Mustang boys, Curtis Griffin placed second in the 55-meter hurdles and third in the 200 meters, while Nathan Sigouin won the boys shot put.

The girls team scores were: Brunswick 177, Edward Little of Auburn 75, Cony of Augusta 57, Erskine Academy of South China 49 and Skowhegan 10. Mount View did not compile points.

The boys team scores were: Edward Little 151, Brunswick 147, Cony 46, Erskine Academy 41, Mount View 31, Skowhegan 7 and Oxford Hills of South Paris 1.
