MidCoast Hurricanes to hold clinics, tryouts in January

The MidCoast Hurricanes basketball club will hold tryouts for its sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys Amateur Athletic Union spring basketball teams Sunday, Jan. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Point Lookout Resort.

Also, the Hurricanes are looking for coaches for the upcoming season. If interested in tryouts or coaching, contact coach Bill Reynolds via e-mail at midcoastaau@yahoo.com or call him at 322-8126. 

The Hurricanes also will hold drills and skills clinics Jan. 2, 9 and 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at Point Lookout. Skill sessions are open to boys in grades 6-8. If interested in one or all three of the sessions, contact Reynolds at the above contacts.
