Pansy “Pat” L. Macom Holt died Dec. 27, 2010, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Pansy was born March 16, 1920, in Fish County, Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Pansy married Clarence Macom and lived in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She is preceded in death by her only daughter, Verlia Parker.

She is survived by three wonderful sons, Earl M. Macom and wife Becky of Morrill, John H. Macom and his partner Carol Skogland of Brooksville, and Eli Macom and wife Louise of Mountain Home, Idaho; two step-children, Joyce Chamberlin of Belfast, Robert Holt and wife Lucey of New Hampshire; ten grandchildren, Earl R. Macom, John J. Macom, Thomas Macom, Ronnie Macom, Carrie Reines, Albert J. Chamberlin, Lee and Donnie Chamberlin, Regina Larrabee, and Patty Lamphier; 12 great-grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pat lived with her second husband, Robert Holt, on Beach Hill Road in Northport for many years. Bob Holt died in 1978 and several years later, she returned to Dexter, Mo., to be close to her family.

Pat will be remembered for her love of family and friends. She also loved having the grandchildren come visit her on the farm she and Bob worked. She also loved animals and had many of them.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the animal rescue of Belfast.
