Snowfest and Fishing Derby Feb. 12 on Washington Pond

The 24th annual Snowfest and Fishing Derby is coming to Washington Pond Saturday, Feb. 12.

The snack shack and fish weigh-in will be at the boat launch on Route 105 (Razorville Road). Weigh-in is at 3 p.m.

The prize for overall largest fish is $75. The prize for largest in each breed, including pickerel, brown trout, brook trout, smallmouth bass, white perch and yellow perch, is $20.

Items from local businesses will be given away as door prizes. The grand prize is $200.

Derby/raffle tickets are available from club members, local stores or at the snack shack the day of the derby. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

The Snowfest and Fishing Derby is sponsored by Washington Hill and Gully Riders, a snowmobile club.
