As always, the state Class B wrestling championships are shaping up to be another daylong, toe-to-toe battle between heavyweight contenders, including Camden Hills and Belfast from Eastern Maine and Mountain Valley of Rumford in Western Maine.

In fact, the meet, to be contested Saturday, Feb. 12 in Augusta, could come down to the outcome of the final match or two.

That is the scenario that materialized during Saturday’s regional meets as the Windjammers, Lions and Falcons all qualified a bundle of wrestlers to the state meet.

Camden Hills, the defending league, regional and state champion, continued its impressive 2010-11 campaign by winning the Eastern Class B title Saturday in Parady Gymnasium at Mount Desert Island High School.
