Mary Ann Morton 83, died Feb. 11, 2011, at her home in Belmont after an extended illness.

Mrs. Morton was born Sept. 23, 1927, in Westport, Conn., to Grace and Frederick Hager. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in Albany, N.Y., and the Christina School in Cooperstown, N.Y. She worked as a nurse for a number of years. After retirement, she spent summers in Maine and winters in Florida. She served as past President of the American Legion Auxillary, Lake Worth No. 47.

Mary Ann is survived by her three sons, Frederick “Jay” Bryant and wife Cate, Gilbert Bryant and Russell Bryant; three grandchildren, Jason Bryant, Kristy Reese and Ashley Reynolds; two great-grandchildren, Jason Bryant II and Hope Reynolds. She will especially be missed by her close friend Eddie Banks and family.
