It has been a hard winter, so everyone who has been roughed up, knocked out, crippled, clipped and crushed by the lengthy season is invited to attend the New Vaudeville Revue’s early spring show and get a belly full of laughs. The fun is set for Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 143 Church St.

Professor Scientist will make an appearance; a winter-worn man and woman try online dating for once; the local open mic does an ethnic show; favorite jingles will be sung, including some for new sponsors; and Gov. LePage does his taxes in this latest collection of original sketches.

The lineup features Beverly Mann, mask performer and actress; Morty Hansen, juggler; and Barbara Maria, poet. Host and producer Ando Anderson will corral the usual suspects Kristen Burkholder, Peter Conant and Jenny Tibbetts, while house band Phil Clement, Jeff Densmore and Mike McFarland lay down the musical law.

Tickets are $12, available in advance at Åarhus Gallery, 50 Main St. To see YouTube clips of past shows, visit the New Vaudeville Revue’s Facebook page.
