Community-based volunteer chorus HeartSong will sing Songs of Comfort Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in the Abbott Room of Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. The program is free and open to the public.

HeartSong offers songs of comfort and peace to those who are in ill health or who are approaching the end of life. Members of HeartSong are available to sing in private homes, hospital rooms, nursing homes and hospice settings. Calming, soft harmonies can open hearts, ease fears and bring comfort to everyone present, including family members and caregivers. Music is selected to be sensitive to the physical and emotional state of the patient and to suit their musical and spiritual preferences.
