The Maine Craft Association will hold a Midcoast Regional Meeting Sunday, April 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the downtown River Arts, 170 Main St./Business Route 1.

The meeting’s theme is Opportunities for Craft Artists and the featured speaker is Lynn Thompson, Special Projects Coordinator for the Maine Crafts Association. She will speak about Maine Crafts’ current opportunities and programs for craft artists in Maine.

All craftspeople are welcome; one does not need to be an MCA member to attend regional gatherings. For more information, contact Sara Hotchkiss at 832-8133 or via email to shotchki@midcoast.com.

The Maine Crafts Association has been a vital force of the Maine crafts scene since 1981. MCA promotes education, understanding and appreciation of the work of Maine’s craft artists and their importance in Maine’s rich and varied economy and distinctive communities.
