The Camden Police Department is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the March 10 robbery at Camden Rite Aid Pharmacy.

Just before the store closed for the night, around 8 p.m., a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black hat, dark reflective sunglasses, a half ski mask covering from the eyes down and dirty blue jeans entered the pharmacy area and brandished a large hunting-type knife and instructed a pharmacist to give him Oxycontin and Ritalin, Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne previously said.

The man, thought to be in his 20s, is described as between 6 foot 1 inch and 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighing between 170 to 175 pounds.

The pharmacist handed over approximately 100 of each type of pill.

The man then exited the rear entrance of the building, and a Maine State Police K-9 tracked the man’s scent to a parking lot on Mechanic Street before losing the trail.

All information will be kept confidential and all callers will remain anonymous. Anyone with information is asked to call 236-7967.
