The Music and Reflection for the Season of Lent series continues Sunday, April 10 at 4 p.m. at the United Christian Church, 30 Searsmont Road/Route 173, Lincolnville Center.

The public is invited to participate in a Service of Healing and Reconciliation conducted by the Rev. Susan Stonestreet. The service of remembering and letting go will include the singing of familiar folk tunes and reflection on readings of healing and reconciliation.

“Healing is not curing, and reconciliation is not always possible. But thinking of healing and recovery as a journey towards wholeness in body, mind and spirit can affirm our desires to be more in step with the movements of the holy in our midst,” said Stonestreet.

Songs to be included in the service are “Let It Be,” “Pack Up Your Sorrows,” “Catch the Wind” and “I’ll Fly Away.” Musical accompaniment will be provided by Stonestreet on harmonica and Ellen Connors on guitar.

The United Christian Church is handicapped accessible. For more information, call Pastor Stonestreet at 763-4526.
