The Midcoast Warriors girls basketball club will host a tournament in three Midcoast locations on Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The tourney will feature four Midcoast Warrior teams and a selection of some of the better basketball teams in the state.

The MCW Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) teams are made up of players from schools in Knox, Lincoln and Waldo counties, with middle school and high school players from Rockland, Camden, Belfast, St. George, Thomaston, Appleton, Medomak Valley and Boothbay.

The April 9 games will be played at Camden-Rockport Middle School in Camden, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Point Lookout in Northport, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport, noon to 5 p.m. Of course, the number of venues are subject to change if fewer teams participate.

Admission, which is one time for all three venues, is $4 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.

Besides the local Warriors, the Icebreakers, Heat, Maniacs, Poland, Me Ballaz, Me Flash, Chillers, Auburn, Boothbay and Thundering Herd will participate.
