Waldo County Extension Association has openings for people to serve on the Executive Committee. Residents of Waldo County that would like to learn more about the cooperative extension and support extension services and programming are encouraged to get involved.

University of Maine Cooperative Extension brings practical, research-based information to address local needs in areas of nutrition, parenting, and agriculture. Programs include the Master Gardener program, school-yard gardening, nutrition classes, 4-H (club and after-school), Maine Families program, rural living day, and other classes such as facilitation, tractor safety and business management.
