Music for Hope, an Earth Day music festival, will be held Saturday, April 16 from 3 to 10 p.m. at Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts, 42 Depot St.

Performers will include Will Work for Food, a Unity College student folk group; the North Star Sisters with contra dance caller John MacIntire; Ramblin’ Red, a Portland-based folk/bluegrass quartet; Velourosaurs, a rock, blues, funk and R&B band; and Planet Pan steel drum band.

Suggested donation is $15 to benefit New Hope for Women, a nonprofit Maine-based organization that seeks to help women, men, their children, friends, family and all people affected by domestic and dating violence.
