Biologist Alison Dibble and forester Jake Maier will make a presentation and take questions regarding their year-long study of Sears Island Conservation Area at Wednesday, April 20, at 6 p.m., at Searsport Elementary School, 30 Mortland Road.

Sears Island Conservation Area consists of 600 acres that may be accessed by a network of trails maintained by Friends of Sears Island. The conservation area is free and open to the public.

Friends of Sears Island is a nonprofit volunteer organization committed to protecting the island’s natural resources, while enhancing its access for recreational and educational purposes.
