Winterport Open Stage has cast its 2011 spring production, the hilarious show “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” with book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts.

Local favorites Brianne Beck, Ben Layman, Christie Robinson and Dominick Varney will star on stage together for the first time, with musical direction by Phil Burns. This hit musical comedy tackles the truths and myths behind the contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” The four actors play more than 40 roles in a collection of scenes and songs scaling the dizzying spectrum of the male/female relationship.

The hip, funny and witty escapade is intended for mature audiences only. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., April 22 through May 7; plus Sundays, May 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. at Wagner Middle School, Mountain View Drive. General admission tickets, available only at the door, will be $10, $8 for students and senior citizens.
