An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity April 5-12:

April 6

Anne T. Lasalle, 39, of Pittsfield, was summoned for failure to register a vehicle for between 30-150 days after its registration had expired and for an inspection sticker violation.

Laurel J. Bouchard, 55, of Jefferson, was summoned for speeding 66 mph in a 45-mph zone.

John C. Travers, 58, of Unity, was arrested on charges of violating conditions of release, operating under the influence, domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing and on a warrant for trafficking in scheduled drugs and criminal conspiracy.

Harold Duprey, 26, of Unity, was arrested on a warrant out of Superior Court in Belfast for violating conditions of release, aggravated assault and domestic violence terrorizing.

April 7

Molly C. Hauser, 24, of Brooks, was summoned for speeding 63 mph in a 45-mph zone.

Joseph J. Bailey, 24, of Knox, was summoned for failure to register a vehicle for between 30-150 days after its registration had expired.

Tricia M. Berry, 35, of Windsor, was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Laurel Moryan, 32, of Freedom, was summoned for exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more.

April 8

Brian D. Floyd, 20, of Kenneth City, Fla., was summoned for operating without a license.

Nicholas Hart, 24, of Prospect, was arrested on a probation hold and charged with operating under the influence. Hart was also summoned for improper passing.

Billy-Ray Denman, 18, of Appleton, was summoned for operating a defective vehicle (cracked windshield).

Vanessa D. Greld, 33, of Belfast, was summoned for speeding 68 mph in a 45-mph zone.

Jane H. Brackett, 47, of Knox, was summoned for speeding 62 mph in a 45-mph zone.

April 9

A 17-year-old male from Waldo was summoned for speeding 64 mph in a 35-mph zone.

John L. Wentworth, 23, of Unity, was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Gregory L. Libby, 20, no address given, was arrested on a probation hold.

April 10

Austin E. Hannington, 18, of Swanville, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release. Hannington was summoned for possession of liquor by a minor.

April 11

Michael G. Ellis, 49, of Unity, was summoned for an inspection sticker violation and for operating an unregistered vehicle for more than 150 days.
