Members of the First Baptist Church will present “The Last Supper,” an hour-long drama that concludes with a live-tableau depiction of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. at the church, 95 High St.

“The Last Supper” was written by the Rev. Ernest K. Emurian and first presented on Palm Sunday, 1954, at a Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Va. The script has the gathered apostles speaking their minds to themselves, to Jesus and to the audience in response to what he has just told them — that one of them would betray him.

Appearing as Jesus and the disciples who were at the table in the Upper Room will be Lincoln Blake, Jack Brady, John Cameron, Bob Coller, Mike Dassatt, Tim Hall, Mike Lawson, Randy Mailloux, Bob Melvin, Ted Menard, Frank Riley, Jeff Spaulding and Brian Williams.

This is a free presentation and the public is cordially invited to attend.
