Ursa Beckford, one of Maine’s finest bagpipers, will perform Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Freedom Grange, 5 Burnham Hill Road.

Beckford, age 17, is an award-winning and  thoroughly entertaining musician who brings an expressiveness to his music that is remarkable. Audiences are always mesmerized by his swift fingers, tapping feet and beautiful, singing pipes.

This fun-filled event will be hosted by Village Farm and will feature Beckford on bagpipes, but the audience also will be entertained by several other fabulous youth performers. John’s Ice Cream will be for sale at intermission.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children, with all proceeds go to benefit Beckford’s trip to Sweden this summer as a delegate to the World Scout Jamboree. For more information on the young musician, visit ursapiper.com.
