Average retail gasoline prices in Maine rose 7.3 cents per gallon last week, averaging $3.94 per gallon Sunday, May 1.

The national average increased 7.1 cents per gallon last week to $3.92 per gallon, according to gasoline price website mainegasprices.com.

Prices on Sunday were $1.03 per gallon higher than one year ago and 29.2 cents per gallon higher than one month ago.

The national average increased 29.2 cents per gallon last month and stood $1.01 per gallon higher than one year ago.
