The Troy Howard Middle School Science Olympiad Team will have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser in the school’s cafeteria Friday, May 6, 5-7 p.m. The suggested donation is $5 per person; $20 per family.

Raffles will be held for an iPad2, a whale watching trip and tickets to the Boston Museum of Science. A bake sale will also be held and team members will also be collecting bottles and cans.

The team’s first-place victory in the state competition qualified it to represent Maine at the National Science Olympiad Tournament to be held May 19-21, at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

To make money for the trip, students will also hold a yard sale Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Troy Howard Middle School cafeteria.
