Principal casting has begun for “Lighthouse,” a true story about the journey of two Jewish teens abandoned by their parents and left homeless in Portland, Maine.

Actors are sought to play the leading role of Joseph — 16-years-old, cocky, book-smart, determined, white with dark features; as well as Jacob — 14-years-old, Joseph’s younger brother, street-smart, witty, compassionate, white with dark features; Mom — age 35 to 50, wired, sarcastic, bipolar, white with dark features; and Pop — 35 to 50, fiery, contemplative, white with dark features, heavyset, Eastern European/Israeli accent.
