An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

May 3

Raymond A. Miner III, 24, of Knox, was summoned for towing an unregistered trailer.

May 4

Zachary Carr, 22, of Belmont, was summoned for speeding 50 mph in a 25-mph zone.

Seth Yentes, 25, of Monroe, was summoned for speeding 54 mph in a 25-mph zone.

Philip Golgano, 41, of Belfast, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release and was summoned for operating after suspension.

Edward Ruiz, 34, of Winslow, was summoned for speeding 64 mph in a 40-mph zone.

Dylan R. Keller, 18, of Freedom, was summoned for speeding 70 mph in a 40-mph zone.

May 5

Nathanial L. Sigouin, 18, of Thorndike, was summoned for speeding 71 mph in a 50-mph zone.

A 17-year-old male from Freedom was summoned for speeding 50 mph in a 25-mph zone.

May 6

Richard Dyer, 21, of Palermo, was arrested on a warrant.

May 8

Douglas E. Noble, 21, of Searsport, was driving his 1995 Volkswagen just before 6 p.m. on Route 7 in Waldo, rounded a corner, blew a tire, and lost control of the vehicle. Noble reportedly avoided colliding with oncoming vehicles by driving into the ditch. Noble was not injured; the Volkswagen sustained about $1,500 worth of damage.

May 9

Jonathan D. Scott, 34, of Winslow, was summoned for speeding 44 mph in a 25-mph zone.

Paula N. Fulford, 57, of Monroe, was summoned for driving with a registration that had expired 30-150 days earlier.

Ronald N. St. Laurent, 29, of Thorndike, was summoned for improper passing.

Sarah R. Higgins, 26, of Searsmont, was arrested on warrants.

Selby S. Clark, 41, of Palermo, was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Peter T. Christensen, 23, of Carmel, was summoned for speeding 71 mph in a 50-mph zone.

Michael A. Duffy, 27, of Camden, was summoned for speeding 61 mph in a 35-mph zone.

May 10

Austin E. Hannington, 18, of Swanville, was arrested on a warrant.
