An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following activity:

May 5

Ross H. Taber, 21, of Port Clyde, was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance.

David S. Dancy, 69, of Belfast, was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Lisa Littlefield, 31, of Searsport, was summoned for a seat belt violation (fourth offense).

Elizabeth M. Holman, 45, of Belfast, was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Officer Eric Marcel investigated a domestic violence assault reported at 10 p.m. As of Monday, May 9, no one had been charged. Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye said the alleged victim was injured but did not require medical attention.

Annette M. Edmands, 48, of Waldo, was summoned for failure to stop at a stop sign.
