With more rain in the forecast for Tuesday, May 17 many of the high school athletic events originally postponed from Monday to Tuesday — again have been postponed.

As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, the only area high school baseball and softball games still scheduled to be played were Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield at Rockland and Mount View of Thorndike at Leavitt of Turner, all at 4:15 p.m.

Tennis and lacrosse matches seem to have followed suit, with only the Winslow at Rockland girls tennis match still set to be played at 4 p.m. and Camden Hills girls lacrosse at Lewiston at 4:30 p.m.

The Mount View track-and-field team also was scheduled to compete at Waterville on Tuesday, May 17, but it was unclear whether the Mustangs would still participate in that meet.
