Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following recent activity:

May 16

Christiane Melahn, 81, of Searsport was summoned for speeding (79 mph in a 55 mph zone).

May 21

Rosemarie Betit, 47, of Belfast was summoned for speeding (45 mph in a 25 mph zone).

Clae Seekins, 27, of Searsport was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance.

May 22

Chianne Simmons, 20, of Lincolnville was summoned for speeding (62 mph in a 35 mph zone).

Police responded to a noise complaint at the Windward Gardens apartment complex on Prospect Street. When the officer arrived, several parties were advised to stay away from one another.
