The Harlow Gallery in partnership with Johnson Hall in Gardiner invite Maine artists to participate in a special four-day juried exhibition at the Harlow Gallery in September.

Open to any fine art media including fine crafts, “Harlow for the Hall” is meant to raise awareness and support for the Johnson Hall Renovation Project; for more information, visit johnsonhall.org. The exhibition will take place at the Harlow Gallery, 160 Water St., Wednesday, Sept. 28 through Saturday, Oct. 1. The Johnson Hall board of directors will host a reception Friday, Sept. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Artists can visit harlowgallery.org for complete entry details including entry form. There is no submission fee for members of the Kennebec Valley Art Association or Johnson Hall; others pay a $10 entry fee to help offset costs of the exhibition.

Each artist may submit up to three works of art for consideration. Sale proceeds as follows: 50 percent to the artist; and a 50 percent split between Johnson Hall and the Harlow Gallery. Harlow for the Hall will be juried by members of Johnson Hall’s board of directors.
