An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

June 6

Michael Croteau, 39, of Thorndike was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension (habitual offender).

June 8

A 17-year-old male from Montville was summoned for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

June 9

Eliza P. Eager, 45, of Northport was summoned for failure to register a motor vehicle (registration expired 30-150 days ago).

June 10

Daniel J. Herasymchuck, 22, of Hampden was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

June 11

Todd A. Stanton, 26, of Unity was summoned for operating after suspension.

Ronald Weed, 26, of Belfast was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

Carol Hayes, 52, of Plymouth was summoned for speeding (66 mph in a 45 mph zone).

Wendi L. Dever, 23, of Waldoboro was summoned for speeding (62 mph in a 45 mph zone).

June 12

Marcus Lowe, 18, of Brooks was summoned for operating a motor vehicle with a registration that had expired 30-150 days ago.

James Moody, 28, of Searsport was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance and was arrested on a probation hold.

Michael L. Wilson, 28, of Freedom was arrested on charges of operating under the influence, operating after suspension, refusing to submit to arrest, assault, and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident.

June 13

Dennis R. Young Jr., 54, of Cushing was arrested on a warrant on a charge of failure to appear in court.
