An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

June 13

Andrea B. Dusoe, 24, of Swanville was charged with operating after suspension.

June 14

Wayne Vanduysen, 44, of Liberty was arrested on a warrant on charges of operating under the influence and driving to endanger.

Christina Love, 28, of Palermo was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

June 15

Matthew W. Darres, 30, of Northport was summoned for towing an unregistered trailer.

June 16

John T. Hines, 45, of Swanville was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

Richard S. Gromek, 54, of Winterport was traveling along Swan Lake Avenue in Belfast in his 1999 Saturn just before 3 p.m. Meanwhile Shelly L. Myles, 41, of Belfast was approaching from the opposite direction in her 1998 Mercury and began turning left into a store parking lot. According to the accident report, Myles turned in front of Gromek and the two vehicles collided. No one was hurt. Damage to the Myles vehicle was estimated at $100, while Gromek’s vehicle sustained an estimated $500 worth of damage.

June 17

Brian S. Barrett, 35, of Belfast was summoned for speeding (83 mph in a 55 mph zone).

Adam Littlefield, 26, of Stockton Springs was charged with operating after suspension.

June 19

David H. Bourassa, 59, of Augusta was charged with operating under the influence.
