An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

June 20

Lucas A. Porter, 24, of Winterport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation and for failure to provide proof of insurance.

June 21

Timothy Mello, 31, of Stockton Springs was summoned for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

June 22

Larry T. Metcalf, 65, of Swanville was summoned for failure to register a motor vehicle for 30-150 days.

Isaiah Rodriguez, 56, of Searsport was arrested on a probation hold, as well as on a warrant charging him with operating under the influence and being a fugitive from justice.

Harold H. Youngren, 58, of Portland was summoned for speeding (60 mph in a 40 mph zone).

June 26

Robert P. Burkhardt, 25, no address given, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

Michael Seavey, 62, of Plymouth was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance.
