An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

June 27

Harold E. Leathers, 41, of Morrill was arrested on a charge of failure to comply with the sex offender registry.

June 28

Jacob A. McIntire, 19, of Unity was charged with marijuana cultivation.

Angela Patterson, 34, of Jackson was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Justin A. Cunningham, 18, of Frankfort was charged with marijuana cultivation.

June 29

Matthew W. Sidar, 23, of Hancock was summoned for speeding (63 mph in a 45 mph zone).

Benjamin L. Thompson, 27, of Searsmont was arrested on warrants for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, threatening display of a weapon, having a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, operating under the influence (with one prior conviction) and failure to stop for a police officer.

John D. Rossbach, 57, of Elkins, W.Va., was summoned for speeding (61 mph in a 45 mph zone).

June 30

Richard Raoul Collings, 74, of Key Largo, Fla., was traveling south on Route 1 in Northport in a 2007 Jeep when a deer ran out of the woods and in front of the vehicle. Collings struck the deer with the front side of the vehicle. Collings was not injured, and while the Jeep sustained an estimated $1,500 worth of damage, Collings was still able to drive the vehicle.

Mark A. Glouin, 41, of Rockland was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

July 1

Scott H. Ely, 41, of Belfast was summoned for failure to provide proof of insurance and towing an unregistered trailer.

Christopher A. Burbelo, 29, of Frankfort was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

John Davis, 57, of Montville was arrested on a warrant for violating a protection order.

Wesley Gerrish, 61, of Burnham was charged with reckless conduct with a firearm.

Devon S. Devaney, 19, of Troy was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension.

Scott A. Anderson, 20, of Freedom was summoned for littering from a motor vehicle.

Israel Maresh, 33, of Belfast was summoned for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance.

July 2

Barron Tibbetts, 31, of Unity was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Mary Howard, 27, of Unity was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Brittany Aldus, 19, of Searsmont was charged with operating after suspension.

July 3

Kenneth Larose, 62, of Unity was headed south and was merging from the stop sign at the intersection of the Belfast and Knox Ridge roads in Knox in a 2002 Ford. Simultaneously, a 1996 Subaru wagon that was being operated by 30-year-old Bradi Snow of Belfast was headed east. According to the accident report, Larose crossed into Snow’s lane of travel. Snow attempted to hit her brakes, but she was unable to avoid hitting Larose’s vehicle. Snow collided with Larose’s Ford on the passengers’ side with the front driver’s side fender of her vehicle. Snow and her two passengers, both children under age two, were not hurt. One of Larose’s passengers, 61-year-old Jane Pinnette, complained of pain in her right arm. Unity Volunteer Ambulance personnel transported Pinnette to Thayer Hospital in Waterville. Larose and another of his passengers, 27-year-old David Pinnette, escaped the accident unharmed. Damage to the Ford was estimated at $6,000, while the Subaru sustained an estimated $1,500 worth of damage.

Stephen Larrabee, 36, of Belfast was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

Christopher McGinn, 25, of Belfast was summoned for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Michael D. McGinn, 62, of Belfast was summoned for towing without a tow bar or safety chain.

Jeremy D. Braley, 23, of unity was arrested on charges of assault, obstructing the report of a crime, criminal mischief, domestic violence terrorizing, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, two counts of terrorizing and two counts of aggravated assault.

July 4

Darlene Kazarian, 40, of Northport was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of property and operating after suspension.

Michael Wilson, 50, of Searsmont was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release, and was also summoned for cultivating marijuana and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
