An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

July 5

Barbara Orcutt, 48, of Thorndike was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of drugs, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to report an accident by the quickest of means.

Elizabeth Peabody, 26, of Belfast was arrested on a charge of trafficking in schedule W drugs.

July 6

Ruben B. Jacobo, 43, of Islesboro was charged with operating under the influence and operating without a license.

July 7

Dustin Barrows, 28, of Northport was arrested on a warrant for aggravated forgery.

Casey A. Jones, 23, of Unity was summoned for speeding (68 mph in a 50 mph zone).

Judith B. Smith, 50, of Islesboro was charged with operating after suspension.

Ralph E. Pendleton, 47, of Lincolnville was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

July 8

Clayton Kuhn, 45, of brooks was arrested on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence terrorizing, and was summoned on a charge of creating a police standoff.

Eric Dayan, 29, of Montville was summoned for failing to obtain a license within 30 days and evasion of registration fees and excise taxes.

July 9

Dakota Durand, 19, of Brooks was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault.

Billy Knowlton, 27, of Trenton was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

Jacob Eckert, 35, of Orono was summoned for speeding (70 mph in a 45 mph zone) and for an inspection sticker violation.

July 10

Kayla Seekins, 20, of Frankfort was arrested on a probation hold.

Ashleigh N. Gibbs, 21, of Brooks was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

Tony Curtis, 34, of Brooks was arrested on charges of violating conditions of release and operating after suspension.

July 11

Joey Philbrook, 25, of Knox, was charged with operating after revocation.
