The feature film co-written and –produced by and featuring Camden native Caitlin FitzGerald is seeking extras for two large group scenes to be shot this weekend and next.

On Friday, July 22 beginning 7:30 p.m. and running into the wee hours, a celebration-of-life party, set after a memorial service, will be lensed in the home at 166 Chestnut St. Extras should wear something somewhat formal, as would be worn to a memorial service.

There will be a daytime shoot Sunday, July 31 with hours to be announced at the Riley School in Glen Cove. This scene depicts the memorial service itself, so the same wardrobe criteria apply. As the events in the two scenes occur one after the other in film, it would be ideal to have at least some of the same people in each.

Those interested in participating should contact Erica Anderson, the film’s production supervisor and second assistant director, to let her know how many people might be able to attend together. The independent company is looking for large groups and all ages.

To contact Anderson, call 347-277-6427; send email to anderson.erica@gmail.com; or visit camdenmainefilm.com. The party food is being prepared by The Market Basket and Josh Gamage.
