There still is time to sign up for the remaining art classes and workshops at Waterfall Arts in Belfast and Montville.

On Saturday, Aug. 6, Laura Jaquays will lead a ART Hope Creativity Gathering, a free community and healing program designed for adults, at Waterfall Arts Montville, 52 Kingdom Road just off Route 3. Space is limited and registration is required by calling 338-2222.

The aim of the gathering is to come together with others to share in a creative group process and conversation. Participants will use experiential art making and taking to connect with their creative expression. Participants should bring a snack and any creative work that can be shared with the group.

Marta Bernbaum returns to the Montville campus to teach a hot glass class Aug. 8 to 12 for ages 12 through adult. All students will quickly learn to make their own beautiful beads, pendants and small sculptures.

Architect Richard Tremaglio will lead a roundtable discussion on the Art of Resourceful Building Thursday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. in Waterfall Arts Belfast, 256 High St. The focus will be on artful, collaborative, economically viable solutions to building problems posed by audience members.

Photographer Anna Strickland will teach all ages how to do cyanotype photograms Saturday, Aug. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Montville campus. Emily Brown will teach Drawing in Black and White Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20 and 21 in Belfast.
