Law enforcement officials with the Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:

July 27 (late report)

Melissa A. Goldberg, 26, of Belfast was summoned for assault on Waterville Road.

Aug. 1

Justin S. Philbrook, 18, of Swanville was summoned for attaching false plates and was ticketed for towing an unregistered trailer, both on Route 1.

Kenneth D. Brown, 50, of Montville was summoned for harassment on Church Street.

Aug. 3

Glenn Reed, 63, of Lincolnville was summoned for harassment on Church Street (alleged offense occurred Aug. 1).

Scott A. Hall, 24, of Belfast was summoned for assault on Field Street.

Aug. 4

Robert A. Konczal, 58, of Scarborough was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign on Route 1.

Aug. 5

Brian Levesque, 24, of Indian Township was summoned for operating under the influence and violation of condition of release, both on Route 1.

Scott A. Hart, 40, of Belfast was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing a public way, assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention, all on High Street.

Aug. 6

Spencer Smith, 18, of Winterport was summoned for illegal possession of liquor by a minor by consumption, on Searsport Avenue.

Michael C. Littlefield, 25, of Searsport was ticketed for speeding (50 mph in a 30 mph zone) on Marsh Road.

Ian E. Stover, 24, of Waldo was ticketed for speeding (74 mph in a 45 mph zone) on Poors Mill Road.

Around 8 p.m., Belfast police responded to a 16-year-old male who had climbed up on the railing of the Veterans Memorial Bridge and was threatening to jump. The teen had run away from Sweetser, according to police, but Sgt. Walter Corey “talked [the teen] into coming back,” according to Detective Sgt. Bryan Cunningham.

Aug. 7

Daniel W. Lyford, 21, of Frankfort was arrested for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Main Street.
