The Terra Diddle Collective, in partnership with Waldo Arts Mission, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, will present a fresh, new example of transformational theater Nov. 18, 19 and 20 at the Rockport Opera House. The workshops that will create this work will begin next month at the Red Door Barn, 46 John St.

Transformational theater is a mythic journey of magical storytelling, igniting the fire of each child’s unique creative expression. The workshops will be taught by visual artist Kathryn Oliver and movement/vocal artist Kristi Williamson.

The Intermediate Workshop for children age 9 through 13 will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5 p.m., Sept. 11 through Nov. 17. The Beginner Workshop for those age 5 through 8) will run Sundays from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 11 through Oct. 30.

Workshop fees include all art materials. Early bird discounts are available for those who sign up before Sept. 1. For more information and to register, call Oliver at 593-2677; send email to Kathryn@kathrynoliver.com; or visit kathrynoliver.com.
