Law enforcement officials with the Searsport Police Department reported the following recent activity:

Aug. 3

Earnest Wing Jr., 46, of Searsport was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

Aug. 6

David H. Davies, 64, of Wiscasset was summoned for an inspection sticker violation, failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to register a vehicle that had been expired for between 30 and 150 days.

Kaitlyn M. Bell, 32, of Searsport was summoned for an inspection sticker violation.

Aug. 8

Jennifer R. Rackliffe, 32, of Waterville was summoned for speeding for driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Aug. 10

Police are investigating an alleged assault that was reported at a residence on the Pond Road. Searsport Police Chief Dick LaHaye said the investigation into the incident is continuing this week, and that no one has been charged in connection with the complaint.

Aug. 12

Jesse D. Barrett, 31, of Lincolnville was summoned for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Aug. 14

Jessica Johnson, 25, of Searsport was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release.

Jason D. Trefethen, 33, of Searsport was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault, possession of hypodermic apparatus and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

Kiran Kashalkae, 29, of Waltham, Mass. was summoned for speeding for driving 52 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Aug. 16

Dodi L. Olsen 38, of Monroe was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

Aug. 17

William D. Nelson, 66, of Belfast was summoned for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Police are investigating an alleged assault that reportedly involved a juvenile female and a minor male who are reportedly familiar with one another. The alleged altercation stemmed from an argument over a pet, according to police. No one has been charged in that incident.

Aug. 19

William Drake Jr., 56, of Winterport was summoned for speeding for driving 38 mph in a 25 mph zone.
